To acknowledge

“To acknowledge.”
When you come to realize that a place you thought you knew well is, in fact, not so familiar.
When you realize that what you thought you understood was only a rough assumption or something you skimmed over.
There are times when it is difficult to acknowledge that you were wrong.
But these days,
I feel more and more that there is always room to change that perspective —
to acknowledge, and to correct
“misremembered” things into what is true.
An age
where it is impossible to know everything,
yet an age
where it is easy to believe that we do.
To live in such a time, I hope to hold on to the attitude of acknowledging.
Let’s run!
