Today, I Look Up and See the Airplanes Above

“Today, I Look Up and See the Airplanes Above.”
We live in a world that spends most of its time looking down.
More precisely, a world looking at its phones.
A world where we can still pause and ask,
“Wow, was this here all along?”
A small promise I make to myself each morning as I leave home:
To notice the world entering my eyes and my ears.
Rather than looking down, I want to look ahead.
And sometimes, look up at the sky.
Day by day.
“Yes, today I will look up and watch the airplanes above.”
Let’s run!
