“After the Rain”

The sound of rain opened the morning.

When it finally stopped, I headed out for a short Saturday run.

Now I wonder what comes next.

Will it be the true heat of summer? Or something more demanding?

Whatever lies ahead, I hope to be prepared, stay ready, and keep my mind focused on what I can do.
